Tom Brady aprovechó el “Día de los Inocentes” que se celebra el 1 de abril en territorio estadounidense para gastar una broma a los aficionados de los Patriots de Nueva Inglaterra.

El mariscal de campo, campeón del más reciente Super Bowl en Atlanta, emitió un tuit a sus más de 140,000 aficionados con este mensaje: “Me retiro. En mi tiempo libre estaré tuiteando. #LFG”.

El mensaje alcanzó alrededor de 6,200 retuits a solo tres horas y 46,000 “Me Gusta”.

Una hora después Brady volvió a tuitear: “¿Fue un mal chiste?”.
