Victoria Kim


Victoria Kim covers Koreatown, the Korean community and central Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Times. Previously, she was a legal affairs reporter covering state and federal courts, writing about a diverse array of topics including the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal, police shootings, street gangs and celebrity trials. Prior to joining the paper in 2007, she wrote for the Associated Press in South Korea and West Africa as well as the Financial Times in New York. Victoria was raised in Seoul, South Korea, and graduated from Harvard University, where she studied history.
